TSD Mobility Solutions, the global software provider for rental car companies, today revealed its long-term strategic product enhancement initiatives for the TSD RENTAL system, which includes multiple releases throughout 2025.<\/p>

This spring, the newly redesigned TSD RENTAL mobile application was launched for customers with an overwhelmingly positive reception. The new design represents the future of how car rental companies will be able to interact with consumers to streamline their operations.<\/p>

The product revamp reflects TSD\u2019s dedication to bringing more consumer-facing capabilities into the operational side of the rental business, creating better experiences for rental agents and the customers they serve. Both will benefit from improved Loyalty Program features that allow consumers to book, manage, and retain their own information. This enhancement paves the way for streamlined self-service rental opportunities going forward.<\/p>

\u201cWe work with the largest rental car companies in the world,\u201d said Shawn Concannon, president of TSD. \u201cWith their help and feedback, we\u2019ve developed features that put this cutting-edge technology in the hands of their agents and customers.\u201d<\/p>

Over 16,000 businesses use TSD\u2019s dealership and rental solutions today. In 2024, TSD processed 4 million rental agreements and 4 million reservations. Also known for its innovative offerings in the OEM courtesy vehicle market, TSD\u2019s roots are firmly grounded in the rental industry where the company began three decades ago.<\/p>

Years of experience plus changing markets propelled the new enhancement initiatives. As fleet numbers fluctuate, TSD has built tighter inventory controls for the life cycle of the fleet using integrated buying and selling tools based on local markets. Changes like this will help car rental companies adapt quicker to economic highs and lows.<\/p>

Planned releases for 2025 include improved rate management and more visual damage documentation flows. Existing mobile users will have the opportunity to leverage QR codes more in the new product\u2014both at the traditional counter and when completing self-service rentals\u2014to expedite the overall process.<\/p>
